 NEW YORK, July 9 (Reuters) - The following financial
services industry appointments were announced on Thursday. To

 CITIGROUP INC (C.N)
 The bank named Edward Kelly, previously chief financial
officer, as vice chairman. He will also take on broader
responsibilities for strategy and mergers and acquisitions.
 John Gerspach, previously the controller and chief
accounting officer of Citi, was named chief financial officer.
 The bank said Eugene McQuade will join as chief executive
for Citibank, N.A. McQuade most recently served as vice
chairman of Merrill Lynch and president of Merrill Lynch Banks
(U.S.).
 Bill Rhodes will step down as chairman and chief executive
of Citibank, N.A., and will continue as senior vice chairman of
Citigroup and Citibank.
 The bank said Gary Crittenden, chairman of Citi Holdings,
has decided to leave the company.

 HUNTSMAN GAY GLOBAL CAPITAL
 Private equity firm Huntsman Gay Global Capital has hired
Gary Crittenden, chairman of Citi Holdings and a former chief
financial officer of Citigroup, as a managing director.
 BNP PARIBAS
 French bank BNP Paribas has hired Patrick Sauve, previously
at Deutsche Bank, as a director in interest rate sales to
Canadian clients. Sauve will be based in Montreal.
 JEFFERIES GROUP (JEF.N)
 Jefferies & Co has hired Robert Leone from Deutsche Bank as
a managing director and senior high-yield trader.
 MORRISON & FOERSTER
 Jerry Marlatt, previously at Clifford Chance, has joined
law firm Morrison & Foerster as a lawyer in its capital markets
group.
 ALVAREZ & MARSAL
 Restructuring and corporate advisory firm Alvarez & Marsal
has hired Gary Binkoski, previously at specialty retailer The
Limited Too, as a senior director based in Chicago.
 BROWNSTONE ASSET MANAGEMENT
 Brownstone Asset Management has hired Jeffrey Dane,
previously at Onex Credit, as a senior analyst focusing on the
energy, technology and transportation sectors. Brownstone,
based in New York, has about $400 million under management.
 BTIG
 Institutional broker-dealer BTIG has added four senior
fixed income analysts and salespeople. They include Joe
Labriola from Barclays Capital, who will be an analyst on the
high-grade desk, and Steve Cohen from Citigroup, who will be an
analyst for the high yield/distressed desk. John Walsh,
previously a high-yield trader at Bank of America, and Michael
Kirsch, previously in leveraged credit at Morgan Stanley, will
both join the high yield and high-yield/distressed sales team.
 CARDANO
 Solvency and risk management firm Cardano has hired Bart
Heenk from SEI, and Steven Catchpole from
PricewaterhouseCoopers, to expand its business in the
Netherlands and Britain respectively.
 METRO BANK
 The subsidiary of Metro Bancorp Inc (METR.O) named Peter
Musumeci as executive vice president and chief lending officer.
Prior to joining Metro Bank, Musumeci was executive vice
president and senior credit officer for Commerce Bancorp Inc.
 F&C ASSET MANAGEMENT PLC (FCAM.L)
 The asset management group appointed Jacob De Wit, head of
fixed income, and Richard Wilson, head of equities, to the
group's executive committee, following the group's de-merger
from British life insurer Friends Provident FP.L.
 STEEL PARTNERS JAPAN
 The top official at Steel Partners Japan, Mark O'Friel,
left the activist fund at the end of June, a month after it
secured a rare victory at a Japanese shareholders meeting.

 HENDERSON GLOBAL INVESTORS
 The unit of Anglo-Australian asset manager Henderson Group
(HGGH.L) named Elissa Johnson, Nicholas Ware-Fredriksson and
Stef Abelli as directors of loans in Henderson's structured
products team.
 Johnson joins from credit hedge fund, Apollo Management
International where she was principal. Ware-Fredriksson joins
from Highland Capital Management Europe where he was a senior
portfolio analyst. Abelli joins from BayernLB [BAYLB.UL] where
she was a director of acquisition and leverage finance.
 GLEACHER SHACKLOCK
 The independent corporate finance advisory firm named Peter
Warner as a partner. Peter was most recently British head of
investment banking at Lazard.
