UPDATE 1-FBR Capital suspends coverage of Zions Bancorp

June 8 (Reuters) - FBR Capital Markets suspended coverage of Zions Bancorp (ZION.O), which was covered by analyst James Abbott.

The brokerage said it was suspending coverage of the bank due to a "reallocation of resources" and did not provide further details.

Analyst Abbott also covered financial companies including Cathay General Bancorp (CATY.O), East West Bancorp (EWBC.O), PacWest Bancorp (PACW.O) and UCBH Holdings UCBH.O. (Reporting by Isheeta Sanghi in Bangalore; Editing by Vinu Pilakkott)
