--The Israel-based telecommunications equipment maker said
second-quarter results include income of $1.6 million resulting
from adjustments due to the conversion terms of its convertible
notes that were issued in March 2007.
--The company expects a third-quarter loss of 53 cents a
share on revenue of about $1.5 million.
 --Orckit said the outlook does not include income or losses
due to valuation of conversion terms included in its $25.8
million principal amount of convertible subordinated notes
issued in March 2007.
 --Three analysts on average expect the company to post a
loss of 46 cents a share, before special items, on revenue of
$3.9 million.
