July 7 (Reuters) - Dutch Bank ABN Amro is in talks to sublease all of its space at the 7 World Trade Center building in New York, the New York Post said on Tuesday, citing sources.

The paper also said that music-licensing company Broadcast Music Inc (BMI) is moving to the building.

BMI is subleasing 58,000 square feet on the tower's 30th and 31st floors from ABN Amro, the paper said.

In 2006 ABN Amro signed a lease with World Trade Center developer Larry Silverstein to occupy three and a half floors, or 140,000 square feet, in 7 World Trade Center. However, the bank never moved in, the NY Post said.

The paper said that it isn't known what BMI will pay at 7 WTC, but noted that Silverstein is asking more than $70 a square foot for what little direct space remains available on the tower's highest floors.

According to the paper, Italy's biggest insurer, Assicurazioni Generali SpA (GASI.MI) has also a sublease in place for 17,000 square feet more of the former ABN Amro space, and two other financial firms will soon complete deals for the rest. ABN Amro still has about 80,000 square feet on the market at 7 WTC and deals are said to be pending for much of it, the paper said.

ABN Amro, BMI, and Assicurazioni Generali could not be immediately reached for a comment by Reuters. (Reporting by Hezron Selvi in Bangalore; Editing by Greg Mahlich)
