Feb 4 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 21000 GMT on Monday.

** Amgen Inc (AMGN.O) will sell drug rights to Japan's Takeda Pharmaceutical Co Ltd (4502.T) for up to $1.2 billion in a deal that will bring in cash for the restructuring U.S. biotech firm and broaden Takeda's pipeline.

** Yahoo Inc (YHOO.O) would consider a business alliance with Google Inc (GOOG.O) as one way to rebuff a $44.6 billion takeover proposal by Microsoft, a source familiar with Yahoo's strategy said on Sunday. [nN04132294]

** British industrial investor Melrose Plc (NYN.L) said it had approached FKI Plc FKI.L about a possible takeover that values the engineer at around 412 million pounds ($811 million). [nL04478729]

** Intesa Sanpaolo (ISP.MI) will buy 100 percent of Ukraine's JSC Pravex-Bank for about 504 million euros ($747.4 million) plus an adjustment based on the target's net book value, the Italian bank said. [nL04489721]

** Oil products pipeline TEPPCO Partners LP TPP.N said it acquired the marine transportation assets of Louisiana-based Cenac Towing Inc and Cenac Offshore LLC for $500 million. [nWNAS9098]

** Danish transport group DSV (DSV.CO) said it sold its 50 percent stake in Norwegian transport company Tollpost Globe to the Swedish postal service, Posten AB, for 993 million Danish crowns ($197.6 million). [nDKT002010]

** Chipmaker Freescale Semiconductor Inc said it agreed to acquire SigmaTel Inc SGTL.O, which makes chips for MP3 players, for about $110 million in cash. [nBNG121190]

** CDC Games (CHINA.O) said it increased its investment in Japan-based BBMF Group Inc, a 3G content provider, as part of a strategy to deliver future online mobile games via 3G networks and expand geographic reach. [nWNAS9103]

** Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS.TO) said it has struck a deal with Chile's Grupo Altas Cumbres to acquire its banking units in Guatemala and the Dominican Republic, although terms of the agreement were not disclosed. [nWNA8792]

** Mining group Anglo American Plc (AAL.L) has expanded its relationship with China, sealing a strategic alliance with the China Development Bank [CHDB.UL] to develop a range of mining projects, Anglo said. [nL04321743]

** Sistema (SSAq.L), Russia's leading services conglomerate, has paid $107.5 million to raise its share in commercial bank Dalcombank to 98.65 percent from 48.16 percent, the company said. [nL04253831]

** Irish building-site services group Siteserv Plc (SSV.I) said it had conditionally agreed to acquire British contractor Deborah Services Ltd for up to 48.20 million pounds ($95.29 million). [nL04532537]

** Struggling jewellery retailer Fortunoff said that it has agreed to sell its business to NRDC Equity Partners, the owner of the Lord & Taylor department store chain, for $100 million. [nWEN3755]

** Australia-based Progen Pharmaceuticals Ltd (PGL.AX) (PGLA.O) said it agreed to buy privately held U.S. oncology company CellGate Inc in a stock deal to expand its drug development pipeline. [nWNAS9133]

** Austrian builder Strabag (STRV.VI) said it bought Italian construction company Adanti SpA, but gave no details of how much it had paid for the firm. [nL04356340]

** Analog chip maker Emcore Corp (EMKR.O) has been given approval to buy the telecommunications assets of Intel Corp's (INTC.O) optical platform division, the Federal Trade Commission said on Monday.[nN04556815]
