UPDATE 1-Camden posts Q1 FFO above Street view

April 30 (Reuters) - Camden Property Trust (CPT.N) posted quarterly funds from operations (FFO) above market expectations.

The apartment real estate investment trust forecast second-quarter FFO of 82 cents to 86 cents a share.

Analysts on average were expecting FFO of 82 cents a share, according to Reuters Estimates.

For the full year, the company forecast FFO of $3.20 a share to $3.45 a share.

First-quarter FFO was $51.6 million, or 88 cents a share, compared with $52.3 million, or 89 cents a share, a year ago.

Analysts expected FFO of 82 cents a share.

Shares of the company closed at $27.13 Thursday on the New York Stock Exchange.
