Sept 28 (Reuters) - Canada's Connacher Oil and Gas Ltd (CLL.TO) said it completed its annual turnaround at Pod One oil sands plant in northeastern Alberta, and was in the process of restoring normal operations and ramping up bitumen production.

Production is now underway at 15 of the 17 steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) well pairs at Pod One, including production from the company's two most recent SAGD wells, it said.

"It is anticipated bitumen production levels will ramp up to near-design capacity in 2009 fourth quarter and 2010 daily average bitumen production is anticipated to be about 9,500 barrels per day," the company said in a statement.
