* Says FY results to miss previous guidance (Adds details)

Aug 26 (Reuters) - Health bar maker Glisten Plc (GLI.L) said on Wednesday it would delay reporting full-year results as the external review process to look into the accounting failures at its Halo Foods unit was not yet complete.

Glisten, which was due to announce its results for the year ended June 30 on Sept. 14, said the review would be completed in early September and that there was no indication of any matters of concern, although its full-year results were expected to be below previous estimates.

However, Glisten, which sells sweets and healthy snacks across Europe, said the issues faced by Halo Foods in the fourth quarter were being resolved and the business was "moving in right direction." The company said the review process needed to be concluded before talks with its banks regarding renewed and restructured facilities. Talks with banks are likely to conclude in October, it said.

Glisten said it expected its full-year adjusted pretax profit to halve to 3.4 million pounds ($5.55 million) from 6.68 million pounds a year ago, on a marginal rise in revenue to 74.4 million pounds.

The company also said its trading in first seven weeks of the current financial year was up 20 percent on a like-for-like basis at 9.7 million pounds.

Glisten shares were up 5.6 percent at 75.5 pence at 0712 GMT. ($1=.6127 Pound) (Reporting by Kumar Alagappan in Bangalore; Editing by Jarshad Kakkrakandy)
