UPDATE 1-Volterra raises Q3 outlook

Sept 10 (Reuters) - Volterra Semiconductor Corp (VLTR.O) raised its quarterly outlook, citing greater-than-expected demand for its integrated power products.

The low-voltage power supply chipmaker now expects third-quarter adjusted earnings of 18 cents to 20 cents per share, up from 11 cents to 16 cents per share projected earlier.

It raised its revenue forecast to about $29 million to $30 million, from $25 million to $28 million.

Analysts on average were looking for earnings of 15 cents a share, before items, on revenue of $26.9 million for the quarter according to Reuters Estimates.
