At least 12 die in clashes in Iraq's Basra
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - At least 12 people were killed in clashes between gunmen and Iraqi security forces in the southern oil city of Basra on Tuesday, police and health workers said.
Two ambulance drivers said they had transported eight bodies to Basra's Sadr Educational hospital. A police major at al-Mawana Hospital said it had received four bodies and 18 wounded.
