Free, Bollore in talks with Google over WiMax: paper

PARIS (Reuters) - French Internet service provider Free (ILD.PA) and Bollore Telecom (BOLL.PA) are in talks with Web search giant Google Inc (GOOG.O) over the funding of their WiMax wireless broadband network in France, French daily Les Echos reports.

A spokesman for Iliad, the parent of Free, denied the report while the Bollore group could not be immediately reached for comment.

Reuters received an advanced copy of the headlines of Les Echos' Wednesday edition.
