tipping the following shares:

 The newspaper's Midas column tips the following stocks for
2008:
 Serica Energy (SQZ.L). "Worth a punt".
 Hilton Food Group (HFG.L). "Buy".
 Provident Financial (PFG.L). "If the company performs in
line with its expectations, the stock is almost certain to
bounce back."
 Smith & Nephew (SN.L). "Buy"
 Scottish & Southern Energy (SSE.L). "Dividend is expected to
become more generous".
 
 SUNDAY TELEGRAPH
 Next (NXT.L). "Sell"
 Oilex (OEX.L). "Buy"
 ReNeuron (RQE.L). "Sell".
