Shares in Aim-listed Asterand (ATD.L) gain 3 percent after Daniel Stewart repeats its "buy" rating and 31 pence target price following the company's first half results, released last Thursday.

The broker says the performance of the provider of human tissue-based services to pharmaceutical companies was "driven by steady demand from the acyclical tissue research sector. Asterand's core business continues to deliver double-digit sales growth".
