MADRID, Nov 1 (Reuters) - Spain's Iberdrola (IBE.MC) will supply up to 1 billion cubic metres of liquefied natural gas a year to the U.S. market after an accord with Chevron Corp (CVX.N) comes into effect, the utility said on Sunday.

Iberdrola said the agreement, which began in October, gives it part of Chevron's import capacity at the Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Louisiana. (Reporting by Paul Day)
