- Russia's state-controlled Sberbank (SBER.RTS> will become a key shareholders in Germany's Opel as it will get a 35 percent stake in the carmaker for helping finance a deal on saving it from the bankruptcy of its U.S. parent.

- Russian billionaire Alexander Lebedev, an ex-KGB agent who owns about 30 percent of Russian national flag carrier Aeroflot (AFLT.MM), could become the owner of Timan Oil and Gas Plc (TMAN.L) company TOG.

- Russia's state bank VEB will discuss on Monday the possibility of restructuring loans issued to companies, including UC RUSAL, to refinance foreign debts.

- Power generator OGK-3, controlled by Norilsk Nickel miner, has decided to revoke its deal on buying shares in Russia Petrolium and Plug Power Smart Hydrogen and return its 29 million roubles. The company has been criticised by the Audits Chamber for misusing its funds.

- Russia's national space agency has signed a $306 million deal with U.S. space officials and undertook to deliver U.S. astronauts to the Internatianl Space Station until 2013.
