STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-UK small cap index little changed

The FTSE small cap index .FTSC is little changed in morning trade, outperforming London's blue chip index .FTSE, which falls 1 percent, and the FTSE 250 .FTMC, which sheds 0.9 percent.

British photo booth maker Photo-Me International (PHTM.L) climbs 3 percent after reporting a swing to underlying pretax profit, reflecting the impact of savings achieved through streamlining. [ID:nL1256888]

European newspaper group Mecom (MEC.L) gains as much as 3.7 percent after announcing it is to sell its 71.6 percent take in Swedish mobile marketing company Mobiento, netting the firm approximately 17.4 million Swedish crown (1.4 million pounds). [ID:nRnsB9566U]
