FRANKFURT, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Fresenius SE (FREG.DE) is looking to conclude talks with potential marketing partners for experimental cancer drug removab early next year, Chief Executive Ulf Schneider said on Wednesday.

Fresenius had said it would look for a partner to develop and market the drug in North America and Japan, while it will focus itself on Europe.

In July, Fresenius reported more positive data from a Phase II/III trial of its removab antibody in treating patients with malignant ascites, an accumulation of fluid in the abdominal cavity.

Fresenius is the parent of Fresenius Medical Care (FMC) (FMEG.DE), the world's largest dialysis care company.
