---------------------------------------------------------------

Shares in German solar cell producer Q-Cells (QCEG.DE) rise 5.1 percent in Frankfurt's technology index .TECDAX, after Goldman Sachs upgrades the stock to "neutral" from "sell" and removes it from its "Conviction Sell List", citing "a period of underperformance".

"We remain concerned about Q-Cells relative to key peers (like SolarWorld (SWVG.DE)), but believe the current valuation is fair and now see limited downside," Goldman Sachs says in a note.

15:23GMT 04Feb2009-Crucell shares jump on new Sanofi bid talk

-------------------------------------------------------------

Shares in Dutch biotech company Crucell (CRCL.AS) rise more than 6 percent on renewed speculation that French pharma group Sanofi-Aventis (SASY.PA) could be planning a takeover bid.

"There is talk of possible interest from Sanofi. Crucell is one of the stocks investors think might be a takeover target. That's the main question, will it be taken over soon or later," an Amsterdam trader says.

Sanofi has repeatedly declined to comment on speculation it could be interested in Crucell, but is expected to make acquisitions this year to boost its growth. [ID:nL3111548]

15:08GMT 04Feb2009-Mouchel up; says demand stays buoyant

--------------------------------------------------------

Shares in Mouchel Group (MCHL.L) gain 7 percent after the UK support services firm reports in-line trading and says demand in its public sector and regulated markets remains buoyant.

In a trading update, Mouchel, which provides services to government and the transport, education and utility industries, says it is on track to meet its expectations in the year to July 31.

While it continues to face challenges in the UK rail market and in the Middle East, the firm says it has a 2 billion pounds order book and is well placed to weather the recession.

Investec says: "This significant order book gives the group a high level of earnings visibility and supports our confidence in existing forecasts."

The broker retains a "hold" rating on Mouchel shares.
