Shares in inspection services group SGS (SGSN.VX) fall more than 3 percent, underperforming the Swiss blue chip index .SSMI after disappointing results from rival Bureau Veritas (BVI.PA).

"Overall, Bureau Veritas' read-through is rather negative. Our topline estimates seem at risk -- growth and forex -- but this might be largely offset by potential upside on margins," says Kepler Capital Markets analyst Roger Steiner.

Bureau Veritas falls 10 percent and British rival Intertek (ITRK.L) is down 2 percent. For more double click on [ID:nLR600584]
