Slovenian Gorenje says Q3 group net 3.4 mln euros

LJUBLJANA, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Slovenia's largest household appliances maker, Gorenje (GORE.LJ), said on Thursday group net profit in the third quarter of 2009 reached 3.4 million euros ($5.05 million) but gave no comparable figure from last year.

It also gave no profit figure for the first nine months of the year, but said sales from January to September reached 866 million euros.

The company said in a statement sales in the third quarter reached 298 million euros and were 6 percent higher than in the second quarter this year. ($1=.6734 Euro) (Reporting by Marja Novak in Ljubljana; Editing by Simon Jessop)
