PARIS, July 7 (Reuters) - Below is company-related news and leading stories from French and Benelux newspapers which could have an impact on the region's markets or individual stocks.

PEUGEOT-CITROEN (PEUP.PA)

The French carmaker said on Tuesday first half 2009 vehicle, CKD unit sales decreased to 1,587,000 from 1,845,000 in the same period last year. Assembled vehicle sales fell 17.5 percent to 1,386,000 units. [PEUP.PA]

AIR FRANCE-KLM (AIRF.PA)

The Franco-Dutch airline said on Tuesday passenger capacity in June was down 5 percent while traffic fell 6.4 percent. Cargo traffic was off 0.4 percent and capacity slipped 0.1 percent. [AIRF.PA]

DELHAIZE GROUP (DELB.BR)

The Belgian retailer said on Tuesday it had completed through its fully owned subsidiary Mega Image the earlier announced acquisition of four stores operated under the banner Prodas Supermarket in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. [DELB.BR]

GALAPAGOS NV (GLPG.BR)

The Dutch-Belgian biotech said on Tuesday it had identified a second pre-clinical candidate compound in its osteoarthritis alliance with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK.L). It also reached a milestone on another compound in the alliance, taking payments to 5.2 million euros to Galapagos. [GLPG.BR]

OCE (OCEN.AS)

The Dutch market regulator AFM said on Tuesday that Hermes Focus Asset Management Europe had lowered its stake in the Dutch photocopier and printer marker to 4.93 percent from 9.57 percent. [OCEN.AS]

JCDECAUX (JCDX.PA)

Chief Executive Jean Charles Decaux reiterated in an interview to be published in Tuesday's edition of La Tribune that 2009 will show "negative growth" for the group. The outdoor advertising group said it had won a new contract in Qatar without disclosing financial details.

EDF (EDF.PA)

Le Journal des Finances reported that a recent bond issue from France's main electricity provider had raised 3 billion euros. An EDF spokeswoman declined to comment on the matter.

CIC (CC.PA)

French police have opened a preliminary investigation after an allegation by French bank CIC that it had fallen victim to the record fraud by U.S. businessman Bernard Madoff, the public prosecutor's office said. [ID:nWEA9821]

UBISOFT (UBIP.PA)

Beglian electronic payment and security systems specialist says it expects to achieve turnover growth of at least 20 percent in 2009, saying it is feeling little impact from the economic crisis.
