LONDON, June 9 (Reuters) - Collins Stewart (CLST.L) is forming a new fixed-income credit trading desk with the hire of two traders from bigger rivals, the British mid-tier stockbroker said on Tuesday.

Mike Wojtowicz, joining from British bank Barclays (BARC.L), and Mike Murphy, who was previously at French bank BNP Paribas (BNPP.PA), will start early next month in London.

Their work will complement that of Collins Stewart ISTC in Dublin, which specialises in providing and advising on capital for banks, and the financial institutions group of Collins Stewart's corporate finance advisory arm, Hawkpoint, the broker said.
