 MILAN, July 17 (Reuters) - The following factors could
affect Italian markets on Friday.

 EDISON (EDN.MI)
 The Italian power group launched a 700 million euros ($987
million), five-year bond on Thursday and said orders for the
bond were in excess of 7 billion euros.[ID:nLG431254]
 
 ENEL (ENEI.MI)
 Italian Environment Minister Stefania Prestigiacomo has
signed the environmental impact evaluation decree for the
reconversion of Enel's Porto Tolle plant, her ministry said in a
statement on Thursday.
 The decree confirms approval for the conversion of the
oil-powered plant to coal given by the ministry at the end of

 FINMECCANICA (SIFI.MI)
 The defence and aerospace group's Telezpazio unit signed a
contract for a Turkish satellite system worth more than 250
million euros ($352 million) on Thursday. [ID:nMAT009772]
 
 BANCO POPOLARE (BAPO.MI), BANCA ITALEASE (BIL.MI)
 The cooperative bank will go ahead with plans to revamp its
leasing activities that include a capital hike at its Banca
Italease unit, the company said in a statement.
 An analyst said Banco Popolare is unlikely to make a new
Italease bid despite market speculation which sent up Italease's

 SMALL, MID-CAPS
 
 SAFILO (SFLG.MI)
 Private equity group PAI Partners has pulled out of the
contest to buy a stake in the Italian eyewear group, leaving
only Bain Capital as a contender, Radiocor news agency said,
cited on Il Sole 24 Ore's website on Thursday.
 
 RISANAMENTO (RN.MI)
 The public prosecutor in Milan is seeking a declaration of
bankruptcy for the heavily indebted Italian real estate company,
the company said on Thursday in a statement.[ID:nLG412493]
 
 AEDES (AEDI.MI)
 A bank consortium will guarantee 67.5 million euros of a
planned 150 million euros capital increase with the Amenduni
family's VIBA company and other minorities subscribing to their
shares, the company said on Thursday.
 The agreement on Isoldi Immobiliare's involvement in the
capital increase has been cancelled and Isoldi's representative
is leaving the Aedes board, it said.
 
 INDESIT (IND.MI), DE LONGHI (DLG.MI), ELICA (ELC.MI)
 Italian sales of home appliances fell 5 percent in the first
five months of the year, continuing the negative trend from the
end of 2008, industry association Ceced Italia said on Thursday.
Sabaf (SABF.MI) is also active in the sector.[ID:nLG314914]
 
 YORKVILLE BHN (BY.MI)
 Stock market regulator Consob has taken the maker of plastic
bags off its list of companies that are required to provide
