Magyar Telekom gets 38 mln euro Montenegrin divi

BUDAPEST, June 17 (Reuters) - Magyar Telekom MTEL.BU will get 38.3 million euros in extra dividend from its Montenegrin unit following a decision at an extraordinary general meeting on Wednesday, the company said.

"Based on today's Extraordinary General Meeting decision, Crnogorski Telekom is paying out EUR 50 million extraordinary dividend to its shareholders," it said in a statement.

"Magyar Telekom, which has a 76.53 percent stake in the company, is entitled to an extraordinary dividend payment of approximately EUR 38.3 million," it said.

At 1236 GMT, Magyar Telekom stock traded down 0.7 percent at 602 Hungarian forints on the Budapest Stock Exchange, outperforming a 1.4 percent decline in the wider market . (Reporting by Gergely Szakacs, editing by Will Waterman)
