Aabar Investment income surges to 1.48 bln dirhams

ABU DHABI, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Abu Dhabi's Aabar Investment AABAR.AD posted a third-quarter income of 1.48 billion dirhams ($402.9 million) compared to 19.9 million dirhams in the same quarter last year.

The firm's profit of the three months to Sept. 30 amounted to 1.184 billion dirhams excluding 292.9 million that came mainly from changes in the fair value of investments available for sale, it said a statement on Thursday. (Reporting by Stanley Carvalho; writing by Inal Ersan)
