MANILA, Feb 10 (Reuters) - These are the leading stories in Manila newspapers on Tuesday. Reuters has not verified these stories.

- A joint congressional panel approved a law defining the country's maritime boundaries, recommending a scheme that would avoid a potential clash with claimant countries over disputed territories west of the Philippines. (BUSINESSWORLD)

- The government will allocate 25.12 billion pesos ($534 million) to create 1.3 million new jobs, including what it calls "green collar jobs" to protect the environment. (MANILA STANDARD TODAY, THE PHILIPPINE STAR)

- The Philippines may face a cut in foreign aid because corruption in government is "deeply entrenched" and the World Bank report on alleged collusion of local contractors to bag a road project is "worrying" a big donor country, diplomatic sources said. (THE PHILIPPINE STAR)

- San Miguel Corp (SMCB.PS) is venturing into the water business and has made a pitch for the 47.9 billion pesos dam project in Tanay, Rizal, east of Manila, that seeks to boost long-term water supply for Metro Manila. (PHILIPPINE DAILY INQUIRER)
