BRIEF-Enel on 9-mth results, bond issue

MILAN, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Italian utility Enel (ENEI.MI) said in a statement on Wednesday:

* 9-mth EBITDA 12.486 billion euros, up 11.2 percent

* Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S consensus 11.998 billion euros

* 9-mth net profit 4.711 billion euros, down 2.1 percent

* debt at end September 54.071 billion euros

* sees 2009 results higher than 2008

* sees Endesa 2012 synergies at over 1 billion euros from previous target of 813 million euros

* approves issue of bonds by end Dec 2010 for up to 4 billion euros, mainly for retail investors
