BRIEF-Mediaset statement on 9mth results

MILAN, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Italian broadcaster Mediaset (MS.MI) said on Tuesday:

* 9-mth net profit 184.2 mln euros - slides

* 9-mth net profit forecast 171 mln euros in Reuters poll

* 9-mth revs 2.652 bln euros - slides

* 9-mth advertising revs down 10.8 pct - slides

* Says 2009 operating and net profit will be significantly lower than 2008 - statement

* Says ad revs in last 2 months of year to show an improving trend compared with the first nine months - statement
