NYSE halts several stocks due to equipment change

NEW YORK, July 2 (Reuters) - The New York Stock Exchange on Thursday instituted trading halts on several stocks because of an equipment change.

Stocks with trading halts included Regist Corp (RGS.N), Avon Products (AVP.N) , Jabil Circuit (JBL.N) and Hasbro Inc (HAS.N).
