NEW YORK, Oct 2 (Reuters) - SciClone Pharmaceuticals Inc (SCLN.O) dropped 18.1 percent in extended trade on Friday after the company said it discontinued the development of its experimental cancer drug following the recommendation by a data safety monitoring committee. [ID:nBNG485749]
