Cigna sees flat to single-digit 2010 earns growth

BOSTON, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Health insurer Cigna Corp (CI.N) said on Thursday it expects flat to single-digit percentage earnings growth in 2010.

Cigna said it expects 2010 consolidated operating earnings per share to be approximately flat versus 2009.

Cigna said it expects to increase weighted average share count for 2010 by 3 million.

The company said it expects healthcare earnings growth in the low to mid-single digits. (Reporting by Toni Clarke, editing by Gerald E. McCormick)
