CISCO SYSTEMS INC (CSCO.O), $22.19, up 0.1 pct

The Dow component reported adjusted fourth-quarter earnings late Wednesday that beat expectations but said it was too soon to call a recovery. [ID:nN03535216]

COSTCO WHOLESALE CORP (COST.O), $48.85, down 0.4 pct

BANK OF AMERICA CORP (BAC.N), $16.82, up 1 pct

KBW said the bank could post slight losses in its third and fourth quarters before turning profitable in 2010. The firm added that the stock offered significant value despite a recent rally. [ID:nBNG405415]

JPMORGAN CHASE & CO (JPM.N), $40.66, down 2.7 pct

CHESAPEAKE ENERGY CORP (CHK.N), $24.22, up 3.9 pct

PLAINS EXPLORATION & PRODUCTION CO (PXP.N), $24.90, down 13.3 pct
