NEW YORK, June 8 (Reuters) - Diversified manufacturer Dover Corp (DOV.N) said on Monday that Brad Cerepak would become its chief financial officer on Aug. 1, replacing Robert Kuhbach, who plans to retire later this year.

Cerepak, 50, was most recently controller of Trane Inc and was involved in strategic initiatives that led to its sale to Ingersoll-Rand Co (IR.N), Dover said. He will report to Dover CEO Bob Livingston.

Kuhbach, 62, will remain with Dover as senior adviser after stepping down from the CFO position on July 31, and will retire later in the year, the company said. (Reporting by Nick Zieminski; Editing by Lisa Von Ahn)
