HEADLINE STOCKS - U.S. stocks on the move on Friday

 NEW YORK, June 8 (Reuters) - Some U.S. stocks on the move
on Friday:
 NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR (NSM.N)
 TEXAS INSTRUMENTS (TXN.N)
 Analog chip maker National Semiconductor Corp. reported on
Thursday that its quarterly profit and revenue topped Wall
Street targets and said orders rose from the prior period. For
details see [ID:nN07260255]. Various brokerages made positive
comments on the stock on Friday.
 The stock rose 12.3 percent to $28.96 on the New York Stock
Exchange.
 Shares of Texas Instruments, another chip maker, rose 3.3
percent to $35.52 on the NYSE.
 LIMELIGHT NETWORKS INC. (LLNW.O)
 The provider of digital content for media companies raised
$240 million in an initial public offering on Thursday, at $15
per share, above expectations. [nWEN8665]
 Shares gained 52 percent to $22.80 on the Nasdaq.
 McDONALD'S CORP. (MCD.N)
 The world's largest restaurant chain posted on Friday its
largest monthly comparable-store sales increase in more than
three years, helped by the popularity of its small sandwiches
in France and promotion with movie-star ogre Shrek in the

 Shares gained 1.4 percent to $50.93 on the NYSE.
 TYCO INTERNATIONAL LTD. (TYC.N)
 The industrial conglomerate said on Thursday its board has
formally approved its separation into three publicly traded
companies through a dividend distribution to shareholders.

 Tyco shares rose 2.1 percent to $33.30 on the NYSE.
 QUIKSILVER INC. (ZQK.N)
 The maker of skate- and surf-inspired apparel said on
Thursday it swung to a quarterly loss on expenses and other
items, but continues to expect fiscal 2007 revenue of $2.5
billion and earnings of 53 cents per diluted share.

 Shares rose 5.5 percent to $14.00 on the NYSE.
 GENESIS ENERGY (GEL.A)
 Broker AG Edwards raised on Friday the stock's price target
to $40 from $34 and kept its "buy" rating. Genesis is engaged
in the pipeline transportation of crude oil.
 Shares jumped 5.9 percent to $33.83 on the American Stock
Exchange.
