Murphy to restart two Gulf platforms after Ida
HOUSTON Nov 10 (Reuters) - Murphy Oil Corp (MUR.N) plans to resume production at two Gulf of Mexico oil and natural gas platforms Tuesday and Wednesday shut for Tropical Storm Ida, a spokesman said.
The Medusa platform, with a daily capacity of 40,000 barrels of oil and 110 mmcf of gas, will restart Tuesday. Thunder Hawk, with a daily capacity of 45,000 barrels of oil and 70 mmcf of gas, will resume output on Wednesday, spokesman Dory Stiles said.
Personnel evacuated for the storm returned to both platforms on Tuesday. (Reporting by Kristen Hays; Editing by Marguerita Choy)
