Compuware to cut $90-100 mln in costs this year

LOS ANGELES, July 10 (Reuters) - Compuware Corp. (CPWR.O) plans to trim between $90 million and $100 million from its annual costs by the end of this fiscal year, its chief executive said on Tuesday.

"I plan to increase the aggressiveness of the company's cost-cutting efforts," CEO Peter Karmanos said on a conference call with analysts after the business software developer reported disappointing first-quarter sales.
