NEW YORK, Aug 20 (Reuters) - Some U.S. stocks to watch on Thursday:

SEARS HOLDING CORP (SHLD.O), $64, down 13 pct

The retailer swung to a second-quarter loss and posted revenue that missed expectations. [ID:nN20506280]

H.J. HEINZ CO (HNZ.N), $39, up 2.8 pct

The food company reported lower first-quarter profit on Thursday and stood by its 2010 outlook for profit and sales. [ID:nN20379158]

BUCKLE INC (BKE.N), $29, up 3.8 pct

The apparel and footwear retailer reported second-quarter earnings that beat expectations. [ID:nBNG490009]

HORMEL FOODS CORP (HRL.N), $37.24, Wednesday close

The company reported third-quarter earnings that beat expectations and gave a full-year profit outlook. [ID:nN20463714]

SUNTECH POWER HOLDINGS CO LTD (STP.N), $16.20, down 1.2 pct

The maker of solar panels reported a drop in second-quarter earnings, while revenue fell by one-third. [ID:nN20493376]

CHILDREN'S PLACE RETAIL STORES INC (PLCE.O), $31.92, Wednesday close

The company reported an adjusted second-quarter loss that was narrower than expected. [ID:nBNG493096]

TECH DATA CORP (TECD.O), $34.09, Wednesday close

The distributor of technology products reported second-quarter earnings that trumped estimates. [ID:nBNG501063]

GOOGLE INC (GOOG.O), $451.69, up 1.7 pct

Goldman Sachs added the Internet search giant to its "Americas Conviction Buy list," and said revenue growth would reaccelerate to a high-teens rate or better over the next year. [ID:nBNG514815]

REGIONS FINANCIAL CORP (RF.N), $5.46, down 0.9 pct

Deutsche Bank downgraded the large U.S. Southeast regional bank to "hold" from "buy," expecting commercial real estate-related losses to be much higher than expected for U.S. banks overall. [ID:nBNG494054]

PRICELINE.COM INC (PCLN.O), $146.88, Wednesday close

Barclays started coverage on the online travel company with an "overweight" rating, saying it was positive on the overall travel market. [ID:nBNG51656]

ENERGY CONVERSION DEVICES INC (ENER.O), $12.78, Wednesday close

FIRST SOLAR INC (FSLR.O), $131.43, Wednesday close

Deutsche Bank cut its price target on the solar companies, saying pricing pressure, weak demand and financing conditions would likely drive near-term quarterly losses. [ID:nBNG517985]

BOEING CO (BA.N), $43.52, Wednesday close

The Dow component unveiled a surprise proposal to build a mobile interceptor missile in an effort to blunt Russian fears of possible U.S. fixed missile-defense sites in Europe. [ID:nB327847]

HURON CONSULTING GROUP INC (HURN.O), $20.43, up 5.1 pct

The fashion apparel retailer narrowed its fiscal-year earnings outlook late Wednesday. [ID:nBNG503908]

PetSmart Inc (PETM.O), $19.90, down 12 percent

The pet supplies retailer reported second-quarter earnings that beat expectations late Wednesday, but cut its full-year earnings view. [ID:nBNG70299]
