FACTBOX: Speaker lineup for the Democratic Convention

(Reuters) - The U.S. Democratic convention that will nominate Illinois Sen. Barack Obama for president this week resumes on Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Denver (5 p.m. EDT). Here is a list of key speakers:

No specific times for speeches are set, but the sessions at the convention center run between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. (5 p.m. EDT and 11 p.m. EDT) Monday to Wednesday. Events on Thursday evening are at the nearby football stadium.

WEDNESDAY, August 27

* Obama's vice presidential running mate, Delaware Sen. Joe Biden, will be the main speaker. National security will be the theme of the day.

* Other speakers include former President Bill Clinton, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh, West Virginia Sen. Jay Rockefeller, Colorado Sen. Ken Salazar, House Democratic Whip James Clyburn, Pennsylvania Rep. Patrick Murphy and Iraq War veteran Tammy Duckworth, a 2006 House candidate.

THURSDAY, August 28

* Obama will accept the party's presidential nomination speech at Denver's football stadium, Invesco Field at Mile High, to allow more than 75,000 people to attend.

* Former Vice President Al Gore and Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter will also speak.
