SEOUL, Nov 28 (Reuters) - The following is a summary of major South Korean newspapers on Friday, prepared by Reuters in Seoul. Reuters has not checked the stories and does not guarantee their accuracy.

MAEIL BUSINESS NEWSPAPER

Hyundai Asan will suspend South Korean tours to Kaesong in North Korea from Nov 29, following North Korea's notification to shut down trips by South Koreans to Kaesong from Dec 1.

South Korea has decided to freeze its national health insurance fee for next year, which is the first time since the health care scheme was introduced in 1977.

South Korean tyre makers began cutting their output around mid-November, according to top makers such as Hankook Tire Co Ltd (000240.KS).

Former South Korean President Kim Dae-jung, said on Thursday that the current South Korean administration were intentionally trying to destroy relations between the South and North Korea.

Samsung Electronics Co Ltd (005930.KS), the world's No.1 memory chip maker, is set to stop running two outdated semiconductor production lines next year as part of cost reduction, Samsung announced.

South Korea has independently developed an unmanned lunar-lander, a professor at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology said.

SC First Bank, a South Korean banking arm of Standard Chartered (STAN.L), has agreed to turn into a holding company, the bank said.

Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) in South Korea stopped selling two best-selling chicken burgers amid rising chicken costs due to a supply shortage of chickens after the outbreak of bird flu earlier this year, KFC said.
