** Cable maker Prysmian (PRY.MI) is in talks to take over Dutch Draka Holding NV (DRAK.AS) in a share-swap deal that would create a market leader worth around 2 billion euros ($2.8 billion). [ID:nLT606499]

** Indian pharma company Wockhardt Ltd (WCKH.BO) said it had signed an agreement to divest its Animal Health Division to France's Vetoquinol (VETO.PA), but did not provide any financial details on the deal. [ID:nBOM492271]

** Norway's oilfield engineering firm Aker Solutions (AKSO.OL) said it would sell its 33 percent stake in oil technology services company Odim (ODIM.OL) to Rolls Royce (RR.L) at 45 crowns per share. [ID:nLT603632]

** British bus and rail operator National Express (NEX.L) confirmed it had rejected an offer approach from larger rival FirstGroup (FGP.L). [ID:nLT646700]

** Creston Moly Corp (CMS.V) agreed to buy mineral exploration company Tenajon Resources Corp TJS.V in stock to consolidate molybdenum reserves in Mexico and Canada. [ID:nBNG462604]
