** West Pharmaceutical Services Inc (WST.N) acquires drug delivery assets from Plastef Investissements SA. [ID:nWNAB4880]

** Norway's Telenor ASA (TEL.OL) said a Moscow court had agreed to hear on July 21 a motion to halt the transfer of its shares in mobile firm Vimpelcom VIP.OL to a Russian agency in charge of auctioning them off. [ID:nL7455597]

** China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC), the country's largest oil company, is in talks to buy a 75 percent stake in Spanish oil major Repsol's (REP.MC) Argentine unit YPF for up to $14.5 billion, sources said, as China continues its aggressive pursuit of overseas energy assets. [ID:nHKG13625]

** State Bank of India's (SBI.BO) takeover of State Bank of Indore is on schedule, a finance ministry official said. [ID:nBMB005793]

** India's Bharti Airtel (BRTI.BO) is considering issuing global depositary receipts (GDRs) to South Africa's MTN (MTNJ.J) and its shareholders, the market regulator said. [ID:nBMA003289]
