Australia's Metcash: November sales satisfactory

SYDNEY, Dec 2 (Reuters) - Australian grocery wholesaler Metcash Ltd (MTS.AX) had satisfactory sales in November and sees no weakening in its markets, it said on Tuesday.

Metcash reported a net profit before items for the six months to Oct 31 of A$97 million ($62 million). Profit including items fell 7.2 percent to A$80 million. It will pay an interim dividend of 10 cents per share.

It also reiterated its full-year earnings forecast of 28.3 to 29.3 cents per share before items. (Reporting by Jonathan Standing)
