PERTH, May 15 (Reuters) - Australia's Babcock & Brown Power Ltd (BBP.AX)(BBP) is in talks its lenders on the implications of a revised earnings guidance on its banking facilities and has requested a suspension in the trading of its shares, it said on Friday.
BBP said the talks are incomplete and it expects to update the market on the discussions by the end of next week.
Banking sources told Reuters Basis Point on Wednesday BBP is in talks with its lenders to amend the terms on a A$2.6 billion ($2 billion) project finance loan to give it breathing space to sell assets. [ID:nSYD98674] (Reporting by Fayen Wong)
