Australia's Amcor to raise $850 mln in debt

SYDNEY, Nov 19 (Reuters) - Amcor Group Ltd (AMC.AX), an Australian packaging company, plans to raise $850 million in debt from the U.S. private placement market, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Amcor would use the proceeds in part to replace bank borrowings, the company added.
