JAL plans to cut 19 routes by June
TOKYO, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Japan Airlines Corp (9205.T) said on Thursday it plans to eliminate a total of 19 domestic and international routes by June.
The company said the planned cut includes 10 international routes by January.
JAL has applied for assistance from a state-backed corporate turnaround body, setting the stage for a large injection of public funds into the troubled airline. (Reporting by Nobuhiro Kubo)
