Taiwan's Chi Mei sees weaker Q4 LCD shipments

TAIPEI, Oct 26 (Reuters) - Chi Mei Optoelectronics Corp (3009.TW), Taiwan's No.2 LCD maker, said on Monday it expects shipments of panels for computers and flat-screen TVs to fall in the fourth quarter from the third quarter.

Finance Director Denis Chen gave the forecasts during a teleconference.

The announcement came after the Taipei stock market closed on Monday. Chi Mei shares finished down 0.6 percent, against the main TAIEX's 0.25 percent rise. (US$1=T$32.4) (Reporting by Baker Li and Argin Chang, Editing by Jonathan Hopfner)
