(Reuters) - Houston hosted the ninth annual Latin Grammy awards on Thursday. Following is a partial list of winners in some key categories:

Record of the Year - "Me Enamora" by Juanes

Best New Artist - Kany Garcia

Best Female Pop Vocal Album - "Cualquier Dia" by Kany Garcia

Best Rock Song - "Esta Vez" by Cafe Tacvba

Best Alternative Music Album - "MTV Unplugged" by Julieta Venegas

Best Alternative Song - "Volver a Comenzar" by Cafe Tacvba

Best Traditional Tropical Album - "90 Millas" by Gloria Estefan
