(Reuters) - Following are developments in the fighting in the Gaza Strip as of 2030 GMT:

* GAZA - Israeli air strikes targeted buildings belonging to the Islamic University as well as several government structures in the Gaza Strip, witnesses said. No injuries were reported.

* BUREIJ REFUGEE CAMP, Gaza Strip - Israeli tanks, backed by heavy shelling, moved toward Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Medics said three Palestinians, a father and two of his adult sons, were killed and some 14 others were wounded.

* BUREIJ REFUGEE CAMP, Gaza Strip - Residents said an Israeli air strike set a fuel station at the Bureij refugee camp on fire. No injuries were reported.

* GAZA - Residents of northern Gaza reported heavy fighting. TV footage from Israeli-Gaza frontier showed heavy artillery fire over the area. Palestinian witnesses reported Israeli tanks rolling toward Jabaliya and others said troops were fighting on the outskirts of the city of Gaza itself.

GAZA - Israeli air strikes killed two militants in the northern Gaza Strip, medical workers said.

KEREM SHALOM CROSSING - Some 80 truckloads of humanitarian aid were allowed into the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military said.

RAFAH, Gaza Strip - Israeli air strikes targeted smuggling tunnels along the Gaza-Egypt border, the military said.

ASHDOD, Israel - A rocket fired from Gaza hits an empty kindergarten in the port city. Gazan militants fired some 30 rockets toward Israel on Monday, the Israeli military said.

GAZA - The bodies of 13 members of the same family were pulled out the rubble of their house east of Gaza City after it was destroyed by Israeli tank fire, medics said. A mother and three children were among the dead, all from the Samouni family.

GAZA - Three children and a woman were killed when an Israeli shell hit their house east of the city of Gaza, hospital officials said.

GAZA - A three-year-old Palestinian girl was killed by Israeli army fire in the central Gaza Strip, doctors said. Her father, mother and other family members were wounded.

JABALIYA REFUGEE CAMP, Gaza Strip - Two Israeli tank shells exploded in the car park of a Gaza hospital causing damage but no injuries.

GAZA - Aircraft drop leaflets over the Strip, vowing to continue Israel's assault against Hamas and its leaders. The Arabic-language leaflets urged residents to evacuate their homes and head to city centers to avoid being harmed.

GAZA - Death tolls since December 27: At least 544 Palestinians, three Israeli civilians and two Israeli soldiers.  Continued...
