GM dealers would be cut by October 2010: GM dealer letter
DETROIT (Reuters) - General Motors Corp said in a letter to some U.S. dealers affected by its consolidation plans that it does not expect contracts to continue past October 2010.

sustainable for franchises-letter
* Tells terminated dealers planning on dealer cuts not final yet-letter
* Tells terminated dealers they have until the end of May to submit new
information-letter
* Tells affected dealers believes it is best to have open communication
regarding planning process-letter
* Tells dealers that it reviewed sales effectiveness, volume, profitability,
location and other factors in making decisions-letter
