Homeowner Q2 vacancy rate 2.8 percent vs Q1 2.9 percent

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The share of homes owned but sitting empty inched down to 2.8 percent during the second quarter from 2.9 percent in the first quarter, the Census Bureau said on Thursday.

The homeownership rate was little changed, edging up to a seasonally adjusted 68.1 percent from 68.0 percent.
